The Pessimist Found His Hope
An unbiased account by Bryan Hartwell

In a world where male and female relations have an all time low occurrence rate. Two people downloaded a disgusting yellow application on their phones less than twelve hours apart.

He, a veteran of the online dating scene, reluctantly enabled his account, made little adjustment, and published it into a sea of despair.

Her, an alleged newcomer put her heart and soul into finding the love of her life. She built her profile out of genuine unfiltered photos and statements. She published it into an ocean of lesser prospects with the expectation of completed destiny.

What they found was something dreams are made of. They connected, found joy in each other's online company. (Exceptional texting prowess on both ends that would end up never missing a day for nearly 2 years.)

They went on their first date two weeks later, but it really should have been sooner had the lady known the fragility of this old man’s patience for online dating. She was lucky she was nice to text with, because he somehow found the patience beyond day three.

They finally met for coffee and some games of Skip-Bo, where the lady realized her error of prioritizing anything else but his beckon call. In his immense wisdom however, he allowed such indiscretions, forgave her, and thus began the first day of the rest of their lives. After an expedited courting period and the injury of the old man, it was very apparent that these two were not destined for anything but a life in legally bound covenant. The man fought a handful of excruciating battles with local jewelers and his patience was tested by US customs, but he finally received an engagement ring worthy of presentation. They were engaged before the new year of 2026. Together as a precursive power couple they begin the adventure of their eventual matrimony, 2.5 children, and a lifetime of joyous adventure.
